  Served blind, and while I managed to place in Northern France, I would never have guessed it; it is a dense, stony, quite closed, very concentrated and manly wine, as of now not showing the sexy charm of the terroir. Much too young, of course (not my bottle), and I would expect it to show much better in say ten years or so. Will live much longer than that.

  From a 50ml sample.
  
  Deep ruby color fading to a watery rim.
  
  Hint of Brett upon initial pour. Nose of raspberry, blackberry, nutmeg, violet and rose. Later on as the wine opens up, sweet strawberry notes emerge.
  
  On the palate raspberry, oak spice.
  
  Medium alcohol, medium+ body, medium acidity. The fine tannins but present on the tongue. The fresh acidity leads to a long, mineral finish.
  
  While this still needs plenty of time for the oak to integrate, there’s elegance here that I prefer to the Bonnes Mares besides it. I’d love to try this ten+ years from now.

  Un moment magique que de pouvoir déguster ce vin !
  
  Malgré sa jeunesse évidente, je l'ai déjà trouvé extrêmement charmeur et abordable au nez. Parfum cerise rouge, de framboise, fruits des bois, rose léger, élevage raffiné et subtil.
  
  La bouche est logiquement bien en dessous du nez mais promise à un superbe avenir.
  
  De tous les grandes cuvées dégustées ce jour-là (bourgogne 2018), c'est la seule qui m'a ému et qui tenait déjà très bien son rang.
