(Comte Georges de Vogüé Musigny Vieilles Vignes) Medium, medium-plus colour. Initially not quite the intensity of aroma as the previous wines, but certainly it’s very complex - remains fine, but it becomes ever-more precise in the glass. This wine really delivers. Your mouth is filled with so many dimensions. There’s a slight rasp to the tannin, but it’s just part of the experience. Super, and no spitting.

IPNC Weekend 2023; 7/26/2023-7/31/2023: Medium dark red color. Presumed PNP, drank a glass over 30 minutes. Wow, what a treat at the Grand Dinner. This was simply delightful! Such bright cherry fruit marks the transparency and clarity here; gorgeous layers and deep dried forest floor with crushed herbs and subtle rose hips on a oh so elegant texture with ultra refined tannins. Showing well. 94+ to 95pts.

Medium red, great acidity, nose of ripe cherry, great sweetness ,excellent length, strong core of dark fruit flavours/ tart cherries that merge with the tannins and leaves a slight smokiness on the back of the palate. This wine for my tastes is at its apogee. The wine slightly softens and adds weight as you finish the bottle. Excellent Musigny!

Bottle breathe for 3 hours, and double decant before serving. Sexy nose with complex note of flower and red fruit but overall quite reserved compare to Vogue Musigny 07 and 11. The palate is complex with tea, red fruit and full body. We were waiting for 2.5 hours but feel that it's still not fully opened. Medium finishing. Maybe this is not a right night to open it. Keen to try in 5 years time.
