Classic smoky black berries, pencil shavings, oregano and earthy cedar oak. Dry and mineral palate filled with black fruits and graphite. Good intensity and transition of flavours from entry to mid-palate, however from the mid-palate to finish, it is somewhat watery. Decent length for the finish though. Still need an hour in the decanter for the tannins to soften and wine to settle.

A nice wine but little wow factor. Had at dinner after decanting for 2 hours prior. The nose smelled exquisite, but it wasn't backed up in the taste. Initial notes of leather, smoke and dark fruit were backed by decent tannin (so I think this could still go for a while in the bottle and get better), but everything seemed "thin" and the flavors faded quickly.
