Pale brown-ish. Not much on the nose at first. A bit astringent on the palate. After 1/2 glass put away for tomorrow.
One day later more interesting nose, better balanced. Still a trace of astringency, but fuller in the mouth.
Basically, digging around in this wine to discover the treasures. They are there, but it is still an over the hill burg from a not so good year.
