Pink giving way to brown. Rusty. Lots of sediment.
Lush fruity nose. Completely unexpected. Cherries, strawberry compote, wet flowers, touch of soy. Reminds me of an old Right Bank in its weight. Certainly as surprising as the 1975 Veuve earlier in the night.
Lovely palate. As lush as on the nose. Smooth finish. Touch bitter, and a bit short.
Didn't improve in glass over next 1-2 hours. Compared to the Tache 75 this was more voluptuous and forward but one-dimensional. Still much better than expected though.
