Fantastic. Lighter plum on nose and let decant for over an hour. Smooth finish with touch of bitter dark chocolate. Would purchase again for sure and went quite well with a light asparagus pasta

Continues to be my top pick from Howell. Opened beautifully with little decant. Served at 62 degrees brought a silky draw in first sip and clean finish end. Not as heavy as most Howells and the reason it's my favorite

Extremely lovely nose. Bouquet of spring yellow rose and light tannins on the tongue. Highly rated finish one of the best this year. For 14.8 percent you wouldn't know the alcohol is this high. Delicious....

Not bad but a little acidic. drank alone without food and was probably harder on palate than would have been. Biting finish.

Always a pleasure to drink a Dunn howell. Went taste up against a Bordeaux blend and was equivalent, deep purple hue and delicious currant smell is this wines primary characteristic.

Not typically a merlot fan this wine was nice. Silky buttery taste and you can taste the cabernet finish with this blend. Would purchase again.

Drank at breakaway wine tasting and was not an impressive barolo compared to some I have had. Tart taste and weak smell on both bottles. Also loses luster when drinking next to a cabernet

Enjoyed immensely, however, probably skewed results because compared to cabernet and Pinot during wine tasting. Really opened up after 1 hour and was smooth and delicious. Nose very muted, with light aroma but body was perfect on the tongue, this wine changed my perception of brunellos for the positive!

Good but very light nose almost muted. Decent body but lighter than some of the more intense napa cabs from howell or to kalon. Not a strong finish, and a bit under whelming. Probably not purchase , tasted at wine tasting compared to great brunello and Pinot.

Warm nose of caramel and sweet plum. Delicious palate of earthy tones and wintergreen spice. Not a long linger but smooth and controlled. Color was burgundy ruby red not a deep purple as may have expected from a napa from howell.
