Drank it at frig temperature and really enjoyed it.

We really enjoyed this wine. Apparently pinela is mainly used as a blending grape but this was more than fine on its own. Will buy more.

I didn't particularly care for this wine. Found it to be rather atypical for syrahs from this producer/region and, worst of all, it wasn't very interesting or pleasurable to drink. Tried the last glass two days later and it hadn't improved for me.

First bottle from the case I bought 7 years ago. Decanted for about 2 hours and then refilled bottle to take to restaurant where we didn't drink it until about 4 hours after the cork was pulled. Still seemed pretty tight to me with not much being given up on the nose or palate. Will wait another year before opening bottle 2.

This was our first half-bottle from the case and it is ready to go. Wife commented at least half a dozen times: "This wine is good." She typically does not comment much on our wines so this is high praise. More delicious than complex.

I don't know what this wine was supposed to taste like but I do know that I don't like it. Supposedly this is a blend of syrah, merlot and viognier but I get very little on the nose and then not more than a whole mouthful of acidity. No sign of any tannin. Tried again on day two and the experience was the same so down the drain it went.

I poured this on Saturday for a blind tasting party at our house. It is no understatement that this wine very much underwhelmed the crowd. It was giving up some aromatics but very little fruit on the palate even tough it had been decanted for several hours. I corked the remains and put it in the frig until Tuesday night. Finally the fruit emerged and it was very enjoyable to drink. Suffice to say I am not going open the next bottle for several years.

A big Aussie shiraz but it came across as being very well balanced with miles still to go.

A wonderful WA state Bordeaux-style blend. I found myself continually topping up my glass so that it wouldn't be empty. Not sure it will get any better with time so drink up and enjoy.

This bottle was rather underwhelming over two nights. Nothing about it was "wrong" but it certainly did not press any buttons.

Even better than the previous bottle. Wonderfully balanced and a big hit for all who came over for Carsten's birthday dinner.

Last bottle of this order. Very enjoyable prosecco. Kudos to Paul at Full Pull for tracking this down and making it available at a fair price. Hope to reorder next year.

Served at a family BBQ and at the end of the evening there was still wine left in the bottle while other bottles were drained. Nothing particularly "wrong" with this wine, just fails to leave much of an impression.

Based on the reviews there seems to be bottle variation on this one. I have enjoyed both bottles I got from Garagiste and have no complaints. Held up well over two nights and paired nicely with a steak and porobello mushroom off the grill.

Agree with others that when served at frig temp this wine gives up little on the nose or the palate and seems to drink more like a pinot blanc. As it warms the distinct floral characteristics of gewurz become more pronounced but I still prefer Navarro's version over this.

Poured at Wyatt's confirmation party. Was a little concerned to see the dark purple color but the finish is quite dry and refreshing. A nice option for a summer red.

It was nice to have an enjoyable SS after the disaster of the 07 Southing. This is clearly a step up from their other bottlings but it is not special enough IMHO to warrant the price tag.

This was one of the "not good" bottles. Monolithic, stewed fruit that I did not enjoy at all. Tried glasses on two consecutive nights and ended up dumping both.

Agree with others that this is a bit lighter than other vintages. Popped and poured and it was ready to go. It may have benefited from air but didn't seem necessary and was delicious from the start.

This is a delicious and enjoyable wine. I don't know if it exhibits the hallmarks of Spanish tempranillo nor if it expresses a specific terroir but frankly I could care less as I keep looking forward to the next sip.

Probably redundant to state that this is among the best domestic rose wines. I probably drank this one too cold so will try it closer to cellar temp next time.

Drank over three nights. The bitter/sour finish was persistent on all three nights which I personally did not enjoy. I really enjoyed a bottle of teroldego last summer so I might buy one more bottle and let it sit for a couple more years to see how it ages.

The more I have of RRV pinot noir the more I realize that it is not a style that I care for. This bottle was too sweet for my tastes and the alcohol, labeled at 14.7, was really noticeable. Could not finish the bottle.
