Took about 90 minutes to open up and get past the initial bite. But when it did it was a wonderful bottle of Cab. Half remaining for tonight. I expect even better after a night open for this one.
Enjoy!

Took about an hour, maybe more to settle down. These still have a good life in front of them. Have about half a bottle left for tonight.

This is my second bottle, and while the first time out I had mixed feelings about it, this time I didn't. I really enjoyed it last night. Flavors were solid and enjoyable. For the price, these were a solid purchase and a perfect midweek wine to enjoy with most anything or by itself.

Didn't give this much of a chance to breath. Poured right into glass and tasted. A slight bitterness followed the powerful fruit. About 2 hours later the bitterness was gone and the massive flavors showed themselves to be extremely enjoyable. I have a little more than half a bottle left so I hope to see it showing itself to be as good or better tonight. Will update otherwise.

From a half bottle Very nice. Tannins still evident but enjoyable. I had by itself but would recommend some nice beef to go along with it.

NR. PNP unfortunately these should not be done that way. It sat open and several people did small taste throughout the afternoon. This just never got to a good place so at the end of the night I put a vacvin cork in and will have it today. It really is a full bottle left and I'm expecting a much better result today.

Served chilled to about low 50's to high 40's, then enjoyed over the next ninety minutes with cheese apps. Really enjoyed by everyone. Glad I have a few more and will enjoy over the next few years

On a pnp this was an alc mess. Threw into a decanter and three hours later this was in a good place big big wine that's loaded with big cab like flavors in a bottle of merlot. Turned out nice.

These are not a PNP type wine, nor do I see these as ready yet. I opened one up on memory that others were giving good high reviews. I only had half last night and expect tonight's half to be better having had some time open in the bottle and I'll serve it a little chilled and let it warm up in the glass. That should help with some of the heat that I got upon open last night. I hope I can remember to keep the rest sideways for a few years. These have good overall flavors and aromatics but need time.

From a great vintage, comes a wine that is just OK. Nothing more. It's simple, non offensive, light weight, no oak. Enjoyable.

I can easily see people giving this higher scores. I'm even torn between scores. The taste somewhat reminds me of a cheap wine, but the you try it again and realize its not. I actually enjoyed it. These are not meant for the ages so they will be enjoyed near term.

Very nice. Had about 1 and a half glasses. Will see if I can stretch it out over 3 nights. Not a big in your face cab but yet still gives up a lot. Easily open for business.
Edit . - Couldn't stretch it to 3 nights. finished the 2 1/2 glasses last night. Not as good as the night before, especially chilled. As it got to room temp it got better but still not as good as last night. Ideal time was about 90 minutes after open day 1. Enjoy!

I find myself a bit in the minority when it comes to the Bedrock wines, in that I don't tend to like them nearly as much as others do. This wine may be the exception or maybe its just that good. I found this to be open for business and incredibly enjoyable. These I would buy again. While others rave about bedrock Zins, my taste are more in line with Scherrer Zins, but this Syrah from Morgan is fantastic. Enjoy!!!

These are way to young, but for a Jersey wine, these show a lot of elegance and exhibit wonderful flavors. Sangiovese all the way. Very dry, with that Sangiovese tart cherry flavor. These are a little thin, but still an excellent wine. Enjoy

Still too young but getting there. These are still a good 2-3 years off from being ideal, but it was enjoyable. Tannins are still kicking in the high range but less so then my last bottle. These are 375's

Nice but passed its time. Cork had seepage all the way up except the last 3/8 of an inch. Cork was falling apart in the bottle with pieces in the bottle on the last pour. Flavors were aged and not showing much. Still nice. Enjoy...soon!!!

Damn, wish I read Cubswinws review first. This was smooth and nice but I kept saying its just not giving up what I believe is in the bottle. Nice well made with good potential. Light tannins that should make this a nice drinking wine in short notice, but I think I'll give my last bottle a good year before opening. Emjoy!!!

I have to say that it seems like this is in a great place right now. The tannins are still there and these can continue to age, but I found it very enjoyable. Good cab flavors that I found to be full without being extracted and forced. Thought I had a bottle left after this one but my inventory says this is my last one. I'll enjoy the remaining two glasses today. Enjoy

Didn't realize this was my last bottle. Sorry to see you go, but you went out with a big bang. The hit of the day. Big big flavors, and I mean BIG. I can't believe everything that Russel gets out of his wines. The Alc was in check and only needed about a 15 min decant. Enjoy!!!

Very nice, smooth, elegant, well made. Only knock was pairing this with a Herman Story Grenache. Not a fair battle as the HS is so massive it just overwhelmed the Betz. Still, this by itself would have been well liked on its own. Enjoy!
