Maybe my expectations were too high, but pretty middle-of-the-road mature riesling. Fairly dry, but lacking the minerality and acid of a good riesling of this style. Fading honeysuckle nose, but pretty much reaching for a descriptor.

Still such a beautiful wine. Dustry cherry is the right profile. The fruit is still there and prevalent, but it's gaining in age and becoming more mature. Still has a luscious factor, but that is less pop and more of a subtle balance with delicious roundness and consistency throughout the long finish. Drink up.

An amazing cava. More unctuous and complex than any cava I've had. Highly recommended.

Luscious fruit that is very indicative of the 02 vintage. A hair too sweet for my palate. Still very enjoyable.

Drank my only bottle last night and will definitely seek out more. I am shocked by the reviews on this page. Deep red and dark fruits with hints of smoke. Luscious and delicious without being overbearing. Best Zin from this producer I've ever tasted. Maybe the right bottle at the right time, but man this was good.

Wow, best chardonnay I've had from Auteur. Lemon zest plus big fruit. Maybe these wines are best consumed young. Just delicious.

Darker fruit than I expected. Definitely along the modern side. Still enjoyable, just I would have enjoyed a bit more subtlety. Maybe with time.

Beautiful nose of rich fruit with a hint of yeast, but it's barely noticable. Elegant and balanced. An outstanding champagne.

Deep and dark on color and nose. Hints of eucalyptus, too. Rich, slightly alcoholic on the palate. Definitely decadent. Style preference is very important here. Not necessarily a food wine, but an enjoyable cocktail.

Mushroom and red fruit nose. Sweet spice. Still very young and tannic on the palate. Slight note of mint. Long finish, but a little hollow. Certainly could use time.

Beautiful red fruit with hints of oak, but the wood doesn't come close to interfering. Just luxurious on the palate. Yes, there are some hints of alcohol, but the rich red fruit is still youthful and decadent. Plenty of ripe tannins. very tasty.

On the downslope. Moderate darker red fruit. Maybe a hint of mint on the nose. That's about all the complexity there is. Some acidity peaks my interest, but really nothing special. I think this was meant to be opened a few years ago. Meh.

Surprisingly alive with vibrant fruit and nice acidity. Most likely won't improve from here, and certainly not for the fruit-bombers out there. Old world class.

Confestionary and definitely cabernet on the nose. Promising and deep. But then the palate. Red fruit loaded with acidity. Not as fruity as the nose suggests. A bit of citrus pith on the finish. Certainly interesting and thought provoking. Not my favorite Scholium, but definitely better than the bottle a couple of years ago.

Big and dark. Rich nose of black and red fruit. Maybe a tad deep for a pinot but certainly an attractive nose. Very masculine on the palate with acidic blackberry that feels and taste deep and rich. Hints of mushrrom and minerality but they are certainly in the backround. A serious pinot that should develop for years.

Not really sure what to make of this. Nose of dried fruits, but as the wine enters the mouth I get a tiny bit of corked aroma with subdued fruit on the palate. After 60 minutes of air the funk kind of blows away, and some of the fruit comes through, but just a little bit. I think this wine has seen better days. I was a big Stacey Clark fan in the early 2000s, but this one is not one of her best.
