Opened four hours ahead of time, but opted not to decant. Tannins on this are still firm. Bright acid with cranberry, pine needles, and spice. Refined and long on the finish. Good complexity. Hold.

Made a big mistake by not decanting a few hours before drinking. Previous bottle we had we opened 6 hours before. This was a pop and pour. The wine suffered and needed a lot of time in the glass to show its class. Still very very good but would have been majestically with a long decant. Previous score was 97. Now 94/100. Still a very long life ahead.

Opened 3 hours before drinking and quick decant. A true masterpiece, the pure nose of raspberries strawberries violet and roses is to die for. The purity of the palate is divine and the length of the finish goes on and on. Stunning wine. Blew our dinner guests away.

(Blind tasting) Full, youthful nose. Violets and a haunting perfume. Red and black cherry fruit. Complex spiciness. Hints of chalk. Complex and deep. Medium-fullish, spicy palate. Lovely velvety impression. Delicate, but also powerful. Very balanced. Lovely forest floor with time in glass. Christmas spices and a proper cool, long finish. We guessed on Clos de Tart and/or Chambolle les Amoureuses. A very elegant Bonnes Mares, and among the more impressive de Vogue wines we have tasted.
