  Bottle no. 00001. Gorgeous in every way. Aromas of mature black cherry accented by earth, mushroom, spice and toasted herb. Rich, concentrated palate that is in perfect harmony. Still in the first half of what should be a nice long drinking window.

  Medium to full bodied. Smooth, tannins resolved. Dark flavor profile. Moderate complexity. An enjoyable glass of burgundy, grand cru quality.

  Opened 8 hours ahead and still developed with a glacial pace. Good concentration and body. Chambolle nose. Still feels a little tight.

  Casual Socially Distanced Burgundy Dinner (My home - Chicago IL): Opened 3 hours before serving. Rich and very dense with red, black and blue berry throughout, nicely supported with meat, spice, and earth. This is still a bit firm everywhere, but tannins are nowhere obtrusive. Long and fully engaging. Very good now, with easily having lots of life in its future.
