Very pale red colour Spicy nose, red fruit, seems like there's quite a bit of oak here, Firm tannin initially but light body, savoury, quite a bit of oak but it's nutty and spicy and quite well integrated. Trying this from a Coravin which I know isn't the best way to try a good wine but it seems a bit light, and lacking in fruit. But then again a good decant might work wonders.

Surprisingly drinking well, more black fruits than red. Pronounced nose intensity with some toast, smoke, and fruits forward. Medium+ tannin and acidity. Did not decant.

Burgunday-Tastings Around Town (K&L Wines, San Francisco and San Francisco Wine Trading Company): Light, pale at the rim. Soft red fruit and gentle herbs on the nose. Light weight, elegant, supple, earthy entry followed by late arriving acidity and even more soil. Good length. Subtle wine that is already accessible, but rather a joke for Grand Cru wine in this price range in terms of depth and overall interest.

Fine fruit, oak, smoky and herbal notes on the nose - impressive. On the palate firm and grippy, lots of minerality providing a nice backbone, really classy finish. 92-94+
