  Dégusté a 67 Pall Mall, ouvert 1 heure avant service. Le vin de la soirée! Un nez d’une finesse et d’une complexité extraordinaire. En bouche, de la dentelle, et d’une longueur en bouche phénoménale.

  Tete de Cuvee Rose Tasting (Brookhaven, GA): Deeper maroon; great nose, lots of spice, still some reduction to resolve, meaty, peppery, fleshy, mushroom, lovely, deep and layered; this is next level stuff- fantastic.

  Un peu de Bourgogne (+ a Nebbiolo pirate) (Tøyen, Oslo): Double decanted 2h before dinner.
  
  Enormously deep nose, yet so bright in character. This is just mind boggling complex, yet light on its feet. Difficult to pin down exact scents, but there are definitely a lot of berries here (crowberry, morell, lingonberry) and a freshness of premium vanilla and maybe a touch of cola.
  
  The wine embodies the meaning of silky mouthfeel. Sweet, it covers the whole mouth, yet never jammy. An almost endless finish, bitter in character. That a wine can be so concentrated and deep while maintaining an impeccable elegance is beyond me..
  
  The palate was at its best the first two hours in the glass, I don't believe it needs more cellaring. Stupendous wine..!

  Clear pale ruby; medium plus nose of soil, cedar, red cherries, vanilla, tobacco and toast; dry; medium plus acidity; medium plus tannins; medium alcohol; medium body; medium plus flavor intensity; pfn; medium plus finish; outstanding quality; elegant and refined - starting to show interesting age notes now, but better in a few years; drank with snails and lamb

  Zachys La Paulée "Warm-up" Dinner (Sessions at the Presidio - San Francisco CA): Small glass, brief note. Black and red black is so fun and balanced right now. Densely concentrated while elegant, even if slightly firm. Great now, better 2027 forward.
