Slightly rusty garnet color with some thinning at the rim. Nose has olive, brine, licorice and meat elements with a whiff of red fruit remaining. Palate is very savory with olive and licorice dominating. A little bit of red fruit would improve this for my tastes but it performed to expectations. This one is on its way out and it is time to drink them up. Drink.

Colour: garnet Nose: medium intensity, tertiary, developed. Wow! Red and black plum, plum leather, strawberry jam, mulberry. Rosehip, juniper berry. Leather, warm earth, forest floor. Cedar, clove, cinnamon, vanilla. Soy sauce. Palate: dry, medium tannins, medium(+) acidity, medium alcohol , medium bodied. Wow! Red and black plum, plum leather, strawberry jam, mulberry. Rosehip, juniper berry. Leather, warm earth, forest floor. Cedar, clove, cinnamon, vanilla. Conclusions: very good to outstanding. This has developed beautifully. Gorgeous just to smell and sip at. I think this is likely at its peak, but may age for another five years or so. By the glass at Ma Cuisine, Beaune

Tasted at a restaurant, this wine had a deep red center with orange rims. The medium+ intensity nose of blackberry, plum, smoked meat, minerals, and a hint of pepper.
In the mouth, this wine was smooth and round with light tannin and some length.
Overall, this was a solid wine given I did not have high expectations. It Needed 1+ hour in a decanter to develop.

Still tasting nice but needed an hour to open up and not very much fruit left. Don't let these stay longer - drink now
