  Drank with a friend against ‘14 Musigny (Drouhin). Classic DRC stem and moss notes on the nose, albeit not as pronounced as ‘10 DRC GE a few months ago. Somewhat tightly wound palate of candied fruit and allspice. Layers of fruit and spice but still holding back some. Drink now with air or better hold for a few more years. 97/100

  RB 10. Exotically sweet nose that you seek for in a DRC. Arresting palate that saturates your senses with exotic balance of spices, brown sugar, and sugar plums. Just right in the zone, beautiful beautiful stuff. Only few wines in the world can get better than this

  Had this 2 weeks ago, going from memory….really fantastic and surprisingly accessible. Next to the 99, which was richer, I found this more mineral and savory, and very pure. Initially lighter, it gained power as it aired and by the end I liked it as much. Both better than 02 La Tache imo, which was also drunk alongside but I”m not sure if that was a pristine bottle. 97-98
