As much as the 2018 was fabulous, the 2019 and 2020 are very good but not at the level of the other greats (Méo-Camuzet, H.-Noellat, Anne Gros...) and much more expensive. Very poor value for money

DRC 2019 Vintage Presentation: This was one of the favorites at our table end with dens, dark fruit matched by an impressive tannic frame and acidity. A bit wine yet complex and elegant enough to make it work. Definitely one for the cellar and after 2034.

Tasted in a arrivage tasting of all DRC 2019. Overall, the 2019s DRC are beautifully perfumed, very ripe wines, but they also carry a nice vein of acidity that is making them brighter and fresh. The bottles show incredible class, but also a certain ripeness that might be something that needs getting used to for purists. I thought that the terroir was showing beautifully, despite the ripeness of the year. The wines seemeed very different and true to their cru, especially at the beginning of the tasting and again with quite some air. In between the differences were just a tiny bit muddled. This was absolutely on fire and one of the top three wines from my perspective at DRC in 2019. Deep, layered and complex, with notes of ripe red and dark red fruit, also some sous-bois, truffle, minerality, savory spices, herbal notes too. It‘s full-bodied, dense and very persistent, it also has structure to match the fruit and body, with high acidity and medium-high tannin adding grip. Superb length and complexity. A grand vin in every sense of the word. (98+)

Too young. Tight, chalky, abundance of red fruit kept in lin, strawberries galore. Intense core, vertical structure. 96+ point
