50th Birthday Bash: This is probably one of the best bottles of white wine I have ever tasted. Amongst the line-up of wines we had tonight, this stood out as one of the tops. So much so that I saved a 2 oz. pour to revisit throughout the night. Equal parts incredible nose and lengthy finish. So Great!

PnP. The Chevy set the bar very high, so I was concerned this would disappoint. It was a bit shy at first, reticent to reveal its true colors. It was a wonderful journey allowing it to unwind more and more with each sip and when it finally got there after about an hour, it was a complete powerhouse. Everything is there and dialed up to 11. Bright and clear fruit, less mineral driven than the Chevy, solid acid core and so much elegance and purity. Each sip pulls you in deeper to reveal another layer of complexity. The best Bouchard experience I've had by far.

This was showing beautifully. Early maturity but a delight to drink with with honeysuckle on the nose, sweet caramel on the palate and a silky, creamy texture with a long finish. Quite a complete wine.

Holding white burg these days is not a game I wish to play. Light to medium yellow color, dense, rich, full. Yellow flowers, nuts, spice. Good citrus notes and some nice minerality. The wine definitely still has some baby fat but that did not detract from the enjoyment. Should be better in a few years and then anyones guess as to how long it goes from there. No crime in opening now.

not blind
side by side with the 2013
I preferred the 2014. Balanced. Saline and fresh, creamy and with great precision. 96
