This is a huge, powerful white wine dripping with sappy orchard fruits. There are smoky mineral notes and some spearmint cream and aniseed too. It is full, layered and powerful. There’s so much wine here but it remains light on its feet. The finish is loaded with chalky dry extract and length imposing. This wine could liver forever under Diam.

Opened at the All-Star Dinner by Zachy's in HK. P&P, small glass sample.
Unfortunate case of infanticide. This got better in the glass with some air, but I guess Montrachet really just needs some time.
Very fresh and floral at the start, with hints of the classic chardonnay notes of butter, caramel and popcorn hiding beneath. Great structure and minerality - this will age beautifully.
Would like to revisit in 5+ years and see where it's at, should be some upside.

Infanticide.

Savoury oak and spicy notes on the nose Rich wine, lots of extract and acidity, intense with layers of creamy oak Very long A crime to drink this so young but clearly so much potential

Burgundy 2015 en primeur (London): Relatively opulent fruit, apples, honey, dense aromas, oaky but not over the top, nice complexity. Round filling but with structure. Just fantastic and accessible. All other whites pale in comparison. A treat to taste. 94-95 p.
