Rich gold color and strong nose right from opening. It is NOT oxidized but has nice older-flavors of waxy honeycomb, light caramel, golden apples and finishes with rich tangerine like flavor. A big, full bodied chard, obviously with no oak than the neutral white oak they used. It has aged nicely, but its flavor profile will never get to lemon cream burley, but it is fine.

Decant or aerate for at least an hour as I did and it kept opening up all night. Medium Gold color, nose has marshmallow and honey. Flavors of soft lemon, citrus marmalade and some mineral. Balance and finish improved for 2 hours so I think this wine is going to improve still. Drink now or wait to 2020 and see. Nothing tasted tired or old, this was perfect with warm King Crab Legs dipped in butter.
Remarkably this tastes like a 2 year old Chardonnay. No hint of age, fresh and vibrant with elegance and balance, hints of citrus with minerality and lemon custard. Delightful.

Caramelized apples, and minerals on the nose. Nice acidity and good finish.
