A Trip to Bern's Steakhouse (Round 2) (Tampa, FL): Nose: Blackberry, Plum and Cherry notes on the nose with a perfume of coffee, chocolate and hot stones. Some clove notes as well. Definitively St. Estephe. Depth of fruit is incredible. Palate: A dense wine for its age with very refined power in the mouth. Fully resolved and showing a velvety texture that delivers black fruit, tart berries, minerals and chocolate. Finish: The seemingly high acidity delivers great tart fruit and earth notes in the finish. Very impressive.
