Opulent and rich, a hint of red apple amongst the dark fruit, clove and cedar aromas. The palate is full, freshened yet also hardened by acidity (Ridge disclose acidification, which is admirable), and retains some grip. Less fruit on the palate, and some heat. This is decent and quite enjoyable, but it doesn't live up to the hype about Ridge wines with age.

Dark fruits with a touch of cherry/cranberry. Palate follows the nose. Throwing quite a bit of sediment. Nice, but was hoping for more. Actually paled in comparison to the '12 Mill York Creek opened alongside.

Incredible nose with raspberries, floral notes and cedar, all presented with very good intensity. The palate is medium bodied, fresh, bright, with sensual, fruit coated tannins and impeccable balance. This is especially finely woven even for Lytton Springs standards. Quality oak beautifully settled in. Still so young but world class drinking once again with Lytton Springs. Marvelous. 18.5/20

Cassis et bleuets plein la bouche. Acidité encore passablement élevé. Tannins bien intégrés. Un beau vin riche. Finale de longueur moyenne.

Well made, but lacks some complexity.
Dark and deep in color. Nose dominated by blackberries and cedar. Good acidity and balance, still firm tannins.
