Commanderie Exec Committee Meeting (The Kenwood, Mpls, MN): Pale gold color. Drank a glass blind over an hour. Declassified Musigny Blanc from young vines. Nice nose, fresh, stone, gravel, lemon, umami with a bit of funk and mushroom. Love the savory character, nice texutre, tart lemon custard. Certainly drink younger than its age, seemd quite vibrant and well poised. 91+ to 92pts.

Magnum 00001. Decanted to blow off some of the grassy greeness. Oxidative, rich, concentrated. On the palate identifiably CdN with its earthiness, strength and surprising elegance. Long and mellow (magnum magic); really love the grassy element which adds to its personality. Ripe, sweet and very interesting. 94

Charleston VI; 11/3/2021-11/7/2021 (Charleston, SC (various locations)): Remaking it's appearance in a Charleston weekend. The last time I had this wine I actually was quite impressed with it (with the caveat that I'm not a Burgundy white wine drinker). This is light and yet a bit creamy in the mouth. I get a strong vanilla characteristic but not that over oaked crazy form. More vanilla bean like you would get from the original breyers ice cream. Others had coconut and some more tropical notes but I didn't quite get them. It's a well made wine.

Chas Offlineorama VI, Another embarrassment of riches; 11/3/2021-11/7/2021 (Various locations): Butterscotch, COCONUT, Lots of guava, So tropical but still restrained with a pleasing bitterness on the finish, lovely acidity to balance the power

Served blind. Lemon, acid, youthful but not too young. With air it blossomed and became more round and giving. Tough to guess blind.
