Excellent. Not much of a nose but very balanced and smooth. Evolved throughout meal. No tannins left. Quite a pleasant surprise.

concur with James Kim's note....kirsh, blueberries, saddle leather, tobacco...still youthful and in a great drinking window. Perfect storage so bottle was in great shape.

A Night at Bullion (Bullion, Dallas, TX): Sold to the owners of Leoville Las Cases in 1998. Beautiful and poised aromas of cedar, leather, spices, currants and plums with a bit of eucalyptus on the end. Elegant and mellow palate of currants, plums, leather, earth and brambles. Moderate tannins on the midpalate leading to an earthy finish that gently fades away. Excellent and my WOTN. 93+
