  See previous notes. Bright bing cherries, sweet spices and roses. Medium plus acidity and high tannins. Enjoyable today but hold.

  Pale garnet with reflections of red. On the nose, this is classically Ferrando, slightly oxidative and tinged with volatile acidity, but still addictively complex, offering aromas of dried strawberries, dried raspberries, potpourri, dried mint, winter spices and dried earth. On the palate this is medium to full bodied with medium+ acidity and some slightly grippy tannins that are balanced by sweet dried fruit flavors. This isn't exactly my style but I still love this wine.

  See previous notes. Sweet cherry halls, menthol and camphor. Quite lively. Medium plus acidity and medium tannins. From magnum.

  Brilliant ruby in glass. Cherry, alpine strawberry, cherry coke, roses and spice. Very approachable following a pop and pour. Medium plus acidity and medium tannins that are well integrated. Good finish. Paired with Sicilian style pepperoni pizza and gem salad.

  Excellent. The aromatics alone are just so beautiful. Not impressed on initial Coravin and even initial uncorked pour a night or two later, but the ~3/4 full bottle left capped with some air on it for a few days really blossomed. Purity, elegance, typicality.
  
  A sharp buy for a couple of bottles at $40 USD close-out plus a magnum at twice that for good measure!
  
  Next bottle in 3-4 years?
