Im Gaumen frisch und saftig, leichter bis mittlerer Körper, straffes Tannin, die Frucht wirkt auf den Punkt gereift, die Gerbstoffe sind fein verwoben, genau richtig extrahiert und mit sehr guter Länge im Abgang. Hier wurde mit viel Fingerspitzengefühl gearbeitet. 2025-2037 (Verkostet "En Primeur" im April 2022. Château La Mission Haut-Brion)

Black plums, smoke, espresso, cherries, flowers and cocoa fill the nose. Medium-bodied, soft, round, fresh, sweet and polished with chalky tannins, olives, peppery spices and leafy nuances in the finish. Enjoy this while waiting for the Grand Vin to develop. The wine blends 70% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Sauvignon and 12% Cabernet Franc. 13.6% ABV. Drink 2024-2036. 91-93

En-Primeur campaign for the 2021 vintage; 4/25/2022-4/29/2022 (Bordeaux): Polished black fruits, slight boot polish, a little prickly/peppery note, slight cream. Medium plus intensity acidity is sour, hard, fruit lacking, oaky flavoured tannins are present but more of a rasp than with massive grip. A little hot on the back palate. Meh
