Reductive, with hay and salt pickled lemon pushing through. Elegant and understated, surprisingly accessible already, but will gain complexity with further ageing. Milky texture, vanilla (it sees no wood, though) and tinned peaches, but emphasizing texture rather than fruit. Lemony and floral finish. Drink now - 2033, will be better from 2025, though. 92+ points.

A lovely crisp wine, paired great with Ruffles & Clam dip, on a beautiful Fall night sitting on my friend's deck and catching up with his brother about his trip to Scotland for golf. Cheers!!

A Few 2021 Louis Michel Chablis (Dig Wines, San Francisco): Dull yellow. Ah, finally a more characteristic nose with predominant brothy iodine notes. This too is rich but does not come across as ripe as the Vaillons. Excellent enveloping feel, very good acidity, and much more soil than background green fruit. Not as creamy and powerful as this wine can be, but still excellent.

Classic MdT, airy ripe fruits, rich and also steely and minerally inflected, good acid/fruit balance, lacking a bit of depth but very good qpr.

Spicy, mineral, vibrant, elegant with some richness showing with air.
