From a large format bottle served at the property, this wine was simply fabulous. The layers of strawberries, cherries, raspberries, and red plums topped with mint, tobacco, spice, smoke, and tobacco leaf hit it right on the nose. Soft, vibrant, crisp, and elegant, with loads of red fruits and cigar notes on the palate and in the finish. This is the best 1946 I have or ever will taste. Good luck finding any. Drink from 2023-2023.
