Such a solid wine year after year. Notes of blackcurrant, bramble, black cherry, crushed florals, crushed herbs and pepper. The palate is broad and powerful with dark lush fruit filling the palate along with a wonderful floral lining, this pairs wonderfully with cedar, spice and pepper, the mid-palate is savoury yet persistence, so much energy, the tannins are broad yet focused. The finish is dry and long. This is just a baby, but wow so much potential 94-95++

Halliday and crew gave this 96 points. Top 30 in Oz. I’d give it that and more. Spectacular and delicious. Just imagine how good this will be in 5+ years.

The bones are good but this needs time. Very primary, some might say raw, with a truckload of forward uncluttered fruit. Some grainy tannin but very much in the background (at least for now). I've never been so certain of a wine that can get better with age.

Aromas seem very subdued. Plum and red berries but almost seems watery atm. Very well balanced but tannins still prominent. Needs time.
Wow, what a difference a day makes! The wine has opened up. The flavours and aroma have come to the fore.

Started out well (day one), however ended up like oak/vanilla/butterscotch induced juice five days (kept in fridge) later. Booo.
