The nose was more balsamic than the palate. You taste some fresh red berries, tobacco leaves, cedar, palate better than nose, very elegant, long finish

Loads of smoke, tobacco, wet earth, cedar and cigar box get you before moving to the soft, medium bodied, sweet and tart, red berry finish. This definitely requires drinking.

Light ruby with orange and bricking in color, the nose was packed with tobacco, ash, cigar box, smoke, blackberry, truffle and wet forest floor scents. Medium bodied, elegant and refined, the light, spicy, kirsch finish with isoft, velvet textured, gentle touch, made me wish I had tasted at least 10 years ago. Better on the nose than the palate. Drink up.

Medium - garnet with a tawny rim. Evolved nose, textbook Bordeaux offering cedar, cigar box, tobacco, red fruit and elegant oak. Complex. Elegant and refined in palate with refreshing acidity, siky ripe tannins and long chocolatey finish. Still fresh in palate. Finesse avant tout.

Tasting Group Dinner w/ Kevin Sidders - Steaks & Bordeaux (Our House): Opened a few hours prior to serving, and splash decanted for sediment. This was fun and full of life. Brick red color. Nose of mature red fruit, leafy tobacco, brown sugar, and pine needles. The palate is mid-weight and soft, with sweet red cherry fruit, baking spice, and freshly chopped herbs. Fully resolved tannins. Smooth texture. The finish is moderately long. This faded considerably after about an hour, which was hardly a surprise.
