From initial decanting to the last glass this was outstanding and made even more so when one thinks of the age and the vintage. Impressive depth of colour still, love Graves and deep fruit nose and just such perefct balance and development. It did not waver and was just superb.

Drank this at East Treasure last night with a group of wine lovers. Theme of the night: Wines that start with 19.
Bright purple in colour, with notes of blueberries, cherries, aged plums, chocolate and a touch of toffee. Good balance and intensity on the palate, with a good, satisfying finish.
Drinking at its peak right now, although some might argue that it has a few more years to go before it will start to decline.

Decanted 6 hours before drinking. Typical Pessac nose, with tobacco, earth, wet stone, -and some pine notes. Intense and elegant on the palate. Noticable tannins, but still well balanced. Will probably not improve, but will definitely last for many years.

Mature and elegant aromas, with tobacco, earth and some greenness. A bit rustique. I guess this is a bit on the decline path.

Profited from being decanted which you should do anyway because of sediments in the bottle.
