  Considering the year this is drinking very well. preserved color. lots of time to go but it has evolved probably near peak.

  Deep cherry red. In the nose, there‘s lots of leather, griotte cherry, blackberry, hints of hibiscus. Due to the light vintage, it‘s almost more red than black in its aromatic profile. In the mouth, the tannins are ultra fine, the acidity is rather pronounced, it‘s very fresh despite the 14.5% Vol. alcohol, a bit more rustic than in the nose, but full of character and style.

  5th of 6, pnp, perfect cork and level, essentially as my March note, still youthful, pure, bit monolithic and alcoholic, undeniably impressive but a bit more nuance would improve it and may yet develop. F+ (18).

  4th of 6, opened 30 minutes but not decanted, perfect cork and level - deep red, youthful rim; plum, spice, saddle leather, very mourvedre; full, long, nice attack and spicy centre, quality fruit, just about ready. F+ (18).
