This is way past it's prime, but still drinkable and sort of fun. Drank more like a sherry, with honied notes, honey nut cheerios, pecan/walnut, sherry flor/aldyhde notes; a bit thin and sour but a cool nose. Drank as apperitif like an amontillado sherry. Pesto pasta after.

A weekend in East Sussex (UK): Served from magnum; a golden hue, pure gold, actually, and a rich nose of honey and stones. In the taste you find hints of oxidation, but only in a good way, and the wine is perfectly balanced. There is remarkable freshness here along with the notes of honey and minerals, garrigue and citrus - a rare treat with incredible length and depth.

Conrad’s: Golden yellow; rich, honey, almonds, hay, slight swt oxydation, but good; grt lemony fin., excellent bod. This was tasty! Not at all over the hill, aged 2 perfection!

EWG does Northern Rhones (Conrad's Abode): From a 375. Excellent nose of toasty honey with little signs of oxidation. Palate was nice and even showing good acidity but the fruit didn't really back it up. Still, it gave a lot more than I expected.

Jeff & Lisa’s: This was bad--over the hill. Not oxydized, but very old, flabby, sour.
