3/6/24, 6:09 PM - Yes age may improve it though I think there is a lack of fruits.
2/19/24, 7:56 PM - Yes, it was lovely the next day
2/13/24, 2:54 AM - No problem, it happens, we move on!
12/16/23, 4:10 PM - The 2018 & 2019s were v nice.
4/19/23, 4:16 PM - Yes it was! Birthday dinner for a dear friend
4/19/23, 3:24 PM - Lovely wines for a friend’s birthday dinner
12/24/22, 12:12 AM - Lol I might not be around in 30 years. Cheers
11/14/21, 1:42 AM - Yes, good to drink your bottles.
5/7/21, 4:38 PM - Thanks. Yes good idea to try them in 2024. Should only get better with age.
4/4/21, 3:57 PM - Lovely note! Did you decant the wine or opened to air before drinking? I have a bottle so your input would be v helpful.
4/4/21, 8:11 PM - Thank you very much for the helpful tips!
3/14/21, 10:50 PM - Hi! How was the wine after decanting? Was thinking of popping one
3/15/21, 7:00 AM - Thanks for the feedback! Will open one to track its evolution & keep remaining bottles til closer to 2030. I like my Burgs with some age & complexity.
2/14/21, 2:39 PM - This bottle was decanted for 2 hours which it needed. Can drink now if you like Bordeaux on the young side.
2/14/21, 3:10 PM - Glad to be of help.
2/14/21, 2:37 PM - Yes. Drinking perfectly now.
10/15/20, 10:51 AM - Based on this bottle I would say it’s at peak drinking.
10/2/20, 7:27 PM - Hi. Ex domaine and yes Ampeau cellars their wines til it’s ready. Need more producers like them.
9/28/20, 1:12 AM - Hey Nick! Is it in its drinking window? If not when do you think it be at peak drinking
9/28/20, 1:20 AM - Thanks bro! Stay safe, we are in strange times. Sante!
9/11/20, 4:54 PM - Go ahead & open one, I’m sure you will enjoy it. Sante!
9/11/20, 5:03 PM - Great! Would love to hear what you think of it
9/13/20, 6:21 PM - Great note! Thanks
7/30/20, 5:07 PM - Hi KillerJones!Easily reach 2025, 2030 shouldn’t be a problem too. Should merit another point or two by 2025
7/30/20, 5:09 PM - Saved half a bottle for Day 2. Will post a note if it evolves.
6/28/20, 8:11 AM - Yes it was a good bottle though upon opening my friend was close to pouring it down the drain! It just needed time to open up, sublime Rayas
6/2/20, 6:27 AM - Yes.
2/20/20, 11:06 PM - Oh wow, thanks for the info. Fooled me.
2/20/20, 11:08 PM - Btw, love your Burg articles on TWA!
2/1/19, 6:38 PM - Yes you are right. It was too young and needed cellar time.
12/30/18, 11:13 PM - You are absolutely correct.
7/1/18, 8:10 PM - Enjoy them! Elegant & finesse
6/27/18, 8:04 PM - Hi there! Had only a short decant so definitely agree with you that it's shut down. The Pousse 60 Ouvrees is a good solid Volnay.
6/27/18, 9:30 PM - Hi. It was a test bottle. Was going to get more if it was good but guess not. Had the 02 Pousse volnay bousse last year and it was delicious so thought the 60 Ouvrees be equally good if not better
6/27/18, 11:38 PM - Thanks for the tip on the boillot.
6/28/18, 4:09 AM - Wow! We should meet up! I'm Kelvin btw & my Hp is 0122036081. Got a wine group here about 10 of us & we meet regularly to eat & pop good bottles. We drink mostly older Bordeaux, burgs, barolos & cdp.
6/21/18, 10:58 PM - Hi Nick,Yes it's a lovely wine, good price level too. We been buying his Clos Vougeot ever since the first time we tried. And it's accessible young too.
4/19/17, 8:23 AM - Hi Nick! Yes it's been awhile. Both are the same wine. Delicious if you can get hold. Mini Rayas
1/30/17, 4:17 PM - Absolutely agree. At its price point the 904 is the winner
1/6/17, 6:44 AM - I believe they as in the Rayas winemaker want to age the 2010 longer in barrels before releasing. The 09s which both of us posted notes had a small initial release and I think they have decided to release the second batch later.
9/5/16, 3:55 PM - Hope you liked the wine as much as we did
11/13/15, 5:23 PM - Hi. The billecart salmon nv is a delicious bubbly at almost a third of the DP price
9/9/15, 10:56 PM - Yes decanted and drank over 2.5 hours. Would have been better if I decanted an hour or two before drinking
8/22/15, 2:01 AM - Nope, no greenie meanies! But think will need bit more time
6/6/15, 6:02 AM - Hope you enjoy the 91 Lopez! It's still pretty young on the palette! Imagine it's 24 yrs old and still young! I have a 94 Lopez tondonia grand reserva red can't wait to try it!
6/30/15, 2:30 AM - Hi sorry the 91 was my first time drinking a white Lopez. Hope you like it!
