Surprisingly dark, spicy, rich, creamy; I would have gone for Bonnes-Mares here. Tasted at the traditional lunch with Jean-Luc, my score could be generous; while this is deloicious and sexy, it is not at all, what I would have expected from this vineyard. #CP#lunch#JLP

OK but not at all interesting. Not complex, not long. Not a flawed bottle but a dull bottle of little interest. Tasted at a private dinner around the LA La Paulee. No real comments of joy from the other 8 at the table who are all wine knowledgeable. Forgettable.

(Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé Musigny Cuvée Vieilles Vignes) Very dark red violet color; earthy, tart cherry, sassafras and rhubarb nose; tight, tart cherry and rosehips palate with concentration, sap and depth; medium-plus finish (WOTF)
(Comte Georges de Vogüé Musigny Vieilles Vignes) Medium, medium-plus cherry-red. Softer, lighter, more floral nose than the 2000 Bonnes-Mares more complex with the scent of roses. Fantastic mouthfeel, elegance allied to power - wave after wave of different, sometimes spicy elements. Fine tannins and an extra little burst on the finish. The real excitement is on the mid-palate. Young and fresh. How great? I guess we'll find out around 2020...
(Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé Musigny Cuvée Vieilles Vignes) Black red cherry color; big roses, caramel nose; rich, red fruit, caramel palate with depth and concentration; long finish
(Comte Vogue Musigny Vieilles Vignes) So young but very exhilarating to taste. Great nose spicecake, raspberry, crushed roses, earth, ginger and black cherries. What a nose. Very nuanced. Like a nuclear bomb of fruit and tannin on the palate with perfect delienation. Sweet fruit and ripe tannins with awesome density and richness. This is nowwhere near ready to drink but it offers incredible potential.

Atlanta Musigny & Chevy Dinner: PnP. Open for business and lovely. Lots of black and purple fruits with tons of flavor. Finish wasn't quite there.

200 Burgundy Grand Crus from vintage 2000, 4-day blind tasting (Singapore): A bit oxidative in the nose, earthy aromas, structured, some red cherry, tannins rougher than it should be.
