Deep golden color and a very subtle nose of vanilla and peach flavors. Very smooth and easy to drink. Not very unique but very predicable and easily appreciated as a good exampple of an old world Viognier

The appearance was of a mid golden yellow colour and it was a little mute on the nose with just a hint of tropical fruits and lemons showing. In the mouth it was quite big with flavoursome tones of peaches, tropical fruits and vanilla following through in a decent lengthy finish. An enjoyable and interesting wine but nothing to get excited about.

Sommelier's Monthly Meeting - Nov 2004 (The Bistro): This is the first Condrieu I've tasted and I was told that this was an atypical example of it. Does this really retail at £19.99?
