In previous vintages, it was one taste, and like, "Wow, that's Caymus!" I bought 8 of the 2018's at around $80 each. I would feel ripped off if I paid $20. This is junk. I don't know what happened, but never again. I have been a loyal Caymus drinker for around 7 years...always for special moments or dinners. The bad news is that I had already bought 11 bottles of the 2019. I have low expectations. Caymus used to have a "2nd pressing" that gave a great taste, and aftertaste. Now it is about as good as a $7 wine.

Can't imagine what Chuck Wagner drinks on a regular basis as this stuff is too cloying on the palate. The sweetness (from the oak/overly extracted?) is overwhelming, though there is a hint of something interesting in the background, albeit well disguised.

Sweet and syrupy. Tasted it against another Napa cab and 2 Washington cabs. It was distant 4th from all that tasted
