Opened at Octavium in HK. Slow-oxed and served blind.
Knew it was very good Burg, but didn't manage to guess the producer or the terroir. Montrachet! Rich and buttery, backed by a lot of power and accompanying acidity.
A lovely treat from I, who also organised the evening.

Atlanta Amoureuses & Monty Dinner: Double decanted for 1.5 hours. A clear second compared to the Drouhin. Not bad at all, just not very exciting.

Bouchard Pere et Fils with Gilles de Larouziere (NoMad Cupola): Light color. Nicely fragrant. Very light on its feet. Delicious easy drinking. Probably unfair to have tasted this last after a flight of phenomenal older reds.

Delicious bottle. I tasted butterscotch and lemon with a medium long finish. It is a definite crowd pleaser and a fine Montrachet.
