Medium garnet Medium intensity with aromas/flavors of dried/cooked black fruit, dried herbs/spice, leather, tobacco, earthy forest floor. Definitely tertiary driven aromas/flavors. On the palate the wine is dry with medium acidity, medium dry tannins, high alcohol and medium body. The intensity is medium + and the finish is medium +. The quality is very good but I don´t thin the quality will improve if you don´t love tertiary flavors. Drink now
Monthly Tuesday group "The Dead Sparrow": Pauillac and St. Julien (By me @ the factory): Dark berries, luxurious oak, cedar, vanilla, coffee and cocoa. On the palate dark berries, graphite, a touch of red bell pepper, beautiful oak and cigar box, a slight touch of sweetness, beautiful acidity and round, sticky tannin with a firm bite. Will improve with another 3 - 5+ years of ageing. 93+
Raspberry fruits and toast on the nose. Very fresh with ripe, underlying fruits. But tight tannins and oak influence detract for me tonight. Impact of end of a cold perhaps. Tonight just 89 points.
First of 12 and I'm glad I've waited. There's plenty of fresh red and black fruit, but lots of structure and tannin, that makes this feel very much at the start of its window. I think this will drink well for 10 years from here, and probably improve a point or two en route.

I agree with most. Good bottle, meh vintage. Structure is there but if you have more (I do) it’s probably a 5-10 year ceiling at best
