Asperg Wine Syndrome Tasting Group: Mostly chubby reds (@Private location): From a perfect bottle. Clear, medium ruby, youthful color. Clean, medium intense, fully developed nose with herbs, some menthol, tobacco, stems, animal notes and a tiny “stinker”, but not faulty. Bone dry, medium+/high, well-integrated, racy and lively acidity. Medium+ fine tannin, well-integrated. Now I can understand why people say sometimes that a certain C9dP has a “Burgundian” style: This wine from a colder, lesser vintage is lean but powerful, elegant and has some finesse. Lots of cool red fruit, some tobacco and herbs. Nothing broad or fat. Complex and with good grip and tension. Medium+ length. This particular bottle would have had potential for at least 5+ years. 92-93

No decant. Cherry red . Aromas of barnyard, , roasted meat and herbs This is a nose I associate with mature Cndp and I love it!. Palate tastes of pepper and red fruit, with a lingering after taste. Super balance Fully mature but will last I think for another 5 years or so. Better indeed than I was expecting. and improves in the glass. A nice wine to savour on its own whilst watching the Arse beat ManU!! Very Good/excellent

Smokey and meaty, yet with wonderful depth to the fruit. Very complex now, but potentially more to come? Not enough scribbled down, for a wine that very much impressed.

Trinkbar, aber ohne Freude!? Wirkte nicht zu alt. Schöne Nase, war dann aber einfach nicht so toll zu trinken. 83 P

Still quite deep-coloured, showing little age.
