Very much saffron. Not as good as I remember -01. Not in the nose, not in the mouth. Something about this bottle that don't seems right. But... just a glass today so I will be right back.
More cardboard today. Flawed.

Doften är stor och tung, med bivax, konservfrukt och lite bränd tändsticka. Hittar även lite botrytis, men den är ganska flyktig. Tätare i smaken än 98:an och 96:an, men också sötare och inte riktigt samma friska avslut. Syndigt gott, men lite atypisk och mer lik en Sauternes än sina förlagor. Efter ett tag kommer det fram väldigt mycket saffran.

The first time a change was made to the bottles as they are embossed with '2000' in different alphabets around the base of the bottle shoulder. 'Everyone was hoping it would be a magnificent vintage.'
Corked surely? Stern acids. Pretty low grade wine sadly. All three bottles opened for this event showed the same characteristics apparently.
