Great CC. In prime window now. PnP today and was just excellent. Still a nice bite from tannins and lots to unfold on palate. Will easily keep for another 5 years

My second bottle of L 6216, the first was one year ago. This wine is still too young, barely in its optimal drinking window. I would suggest having it 2025 to 2035+. If you open it now it needs 3+ hours of decant. It is very restrained aromatically but with air its many layers of flavor come through, and it gains heft and sweetness with air. Structured and savory, it’s a good QPR if you are very patient. I expect this to be a 93-94 at maturity, if time unlocks it.

From memory. Stood up for several weeks and decanted off fine sediment. Tasted from 2 - 3h after decant. Mute aromas and not giving much on the nose. Palate is also pretty mute. Not much fruit, some leather, nice acids. Either this is an off bottle or still shut down. Save about 1/4 bottle into 187 ml. Will taste again in the next day or 2. No score given the muteness.

Dark cherry, leather, earth, oak spice, some red berries and a whiff of forest floor on the nose. The medium-bodied palate continues with the same ingredients, adding decent acidity. Mostly resolved tannins and long finish with some leather and red berries, tapering towards balsamico notes. Quite complex, developed and somewhat serious, but still retains drinkability. In a good spot now, but hold if you like to tease out the budding tertiary notes.

Similar impressions as with my last bottle back in April. This is in the zone right now. Delicious!
