After 2+ hours open and aereated, the nose was densely dark and deep — reminiscent of dried currents or other berries. Literally mouthwatering. On the palate, good acid (bright) and herbal garriguey fruit. Plenty of tannin. Not funky, alas. But cinnamon and cloves near the end.

Classic Bandol with a lovely seam of rich, dark fruit balanced with savouriness and garrigue. Nose was a little reticent on opening but got better with air. Acid was crisp and refreshing. Very well made. Not burly or tiring. A bit surprised to see how much I paid for it but I suppose quality red Bandol is not cheap.

Clear medium/deep ruby; clean medium nose of sappy green wood, savoury herbs, ripe plums, eucalyptus and jammy cassis; dry; high acidity; high tannins; high alcohol; medium body; medium plus flavour intensity; palate has tarter fruit and addition of cocoa; long finish; interesting wine - thinner body but packs a punch

Aroma: rich black berry aromas with notes of leather, cured meat, violets and rosemary. Palate: creamy and spicy with dark berries, cured meat, herbs and minerals. Quite tannic and nicely balanced. Good structure and length.

First wine I taste from this producer ever. Also first wine to taste in this vertical wine tasting. Wow! A really powerful wine with a huge potential. As for now I think this wine is way too young. The tannins are very predominant and the acidity makes this wine a bit "too fresh" for this style of wine. 2015 is a great vintage and had I done this vertical tasting with the same vintages (15, 14, 13 and 12) ten years from know, I actually think this wine would take the gold medal! PS: Love Mouvedre!
