Deep purple, licorice and dark cherry flavor profile. Slight bite to the finish with decent legs. Medium acidity, and medium tannins . the Mouevedre shines through with a little bit of creaminess

Consumed over 2 days (vacuvined and refrigerated), note from day 2. Appearance: Clear, medium ruby. Nose: Clean, Medium+ intensity with aromas of black raspberry, black cherry, violets, vanilla, shoe polish, and bacon fat with hints of black pepper. Palate: Dry, medium+ acid and tannins, medium body, 14.5% abv per label feels like it's closer to 15.0%, medium intensity with developing flavors of ripe black cherry and black raspberry, bacon fat, and black pepper with a medium+ finish. Overall a very good wine with excellent length and complexity, drink now, with an hour or 2 of air, or over next 2-3 years.

Outstanding Bandol Rouge. Intense and concentrated dark red fruit, with a lot of herbs de Provence and some lavender, smoke, tar and old wood in the garage. The alcohol is high with some burn in the throat, but overall it carries it well. Very well balanced, complex and a Long finish.

Rich full-bodied dark red fruit with licorice flavors, excellent structure, strong acid which constrains fruit, with bottle age this may be the best Gros Nore in the last 10 years, only the 2013 rivals it. However, the 2013 has 8 years of age to soften the acid and allow the flavors to better integrate
