That’s a more expressive nose vs the bricco that I tasted alongside; fine red and dark cherry and berry scents, forest floor, spice and cedar. Medium bodied, savoury notes with balancing acid, structured and refined for a young barolo. A good wine but not that good to justify the price to be honest. 91+

Clear pale ruby; clean faint nose of cherries and soil; pfn with a tartness reminiscent of underripe fruit; medium body; medium acidity; medium finish; medium tannins; unremarkable and unpleasant due to the tartness; to justify the price point it better undergo a complete metamorphosis
