  Brick color, a little light body but still paired nicely with prime New York steak. Fairly short finish, but opened up after a bit. Some fig and chocolate notes. Oddly, also paired well with Tiramisu! Probably a little past its peak so drink now if you have any.

  This is drinking well and probably at peak of development. Tannnins are fully integrated, acid is medium. Everything seems in balance. Some tertiaries are popping. Sous-bois, mushrooms, some tree trunk notes. Finish is long. No reason to wait any longer; there's nothing to improve.

  Popped and poured. This got better and better as it opened up over an hour. Rich and dark fruited, earthy, and just delicious. Drink now or over the next ten years.
