  (1985 wurde dieser Wein erstmals produziert. Ornato liegt im Süden von Serralunga, Südausrichtung. Der Wein stammt von zwei Parzellen in der Mitte der Lage, 14.5% Alkohol). Mittleres Granatrot. Die Nase ist tiefgründig, zeigt Erde, Stein, Veilchen, Blüten vom Brunnenkresse, Geranien, Granatapfel, Blutorangensaft, Sauerkirschen. Im Gaumen saftig, frisch und würzig, top Struktur, viel Gerbstoff, diese sind hochwertig, verleihen dem Wein einen kernigen Charakter, die Säure ist balanciert, hält das Kraftpaket frisch und lebendig, ausgezeichnete Länge mit roten Johannisbeeren und Kirschen im Abgang.

  Pretty clear colour, as expected. beautiful nebbiolo tint.
  As should be for this Cru and even more in this vintage, very tight and close at this point. big and austere structure, Serralunga oblige, but excellent tannin quality and very pure nose, very much on red fruit and graphite notes.
  Wine was decanted 1 hour in advance at the restaurant. not enough.
  
  Would not touch for the coming 5 years at least, surely a great wine to get in your cellar.
