  Lovely typical Barolo, dusty tannins, cherry, some roses, good acidity, long finish. Not the most complex, but very well done.

  BYOB dinner NOTK (Rotterdam, NL): Darker than expected for an ‘old’ barolo; medium intensity with iron, cherry, porcini mushrooms, licorice, somebody mentioned beef jerky and I agree. Fresh and elegant. Medium+ acidity, high (still quite present) tannins, long finish
  
  Very nice and interesting bottle. Single vineyard, 5000 bottles produced
