cheers - perfect condition, well kept bottle. Opened for 30 minutes, then decanted for 2 hours. Beautiful color, nose, and palate. My first Petrus....wow, amazing

(Pétrus) Petrus 1921 - 1966, all the great years, in Magnum (Melisse Restaurant, Santa Monica, California): From magnum - tight nose that began to open after a half hour or so, yielding olive scents and a hint of raspberry; a lot like a classic Medoc, with great structure, big tannins, berry fruit and a somewhat tannic finish

Oh my ears and whiskers. Still “fresh”. This is a stunning example why sipping wine is fun 🙏

Star anise and lipstick hints on nose, which I don’t love. Plush, velvety fruit with palate that retains sweetness.
