Very dark and brooding, and rather unyielding and austere at first. With a few hours of air it softened up and started to reveal fruit and class. Reserving judgement of how well this might drink in the future but for now it failed to impress.
Entered drinking window but still have potential to improve. In fact, I would have wait another 5 years more to get the maximum pleasure. Drank from magnum. Notes of cassis, black currant, toast, coffee, chocolate, toast, spices. Medium+ acidity and medium+ tannin. Long finish.
Wild, wild stuff. Everyone said Piemonte (!), I sensed Bordeux, but not this one - mý favorite one, normally. Concentrated, intense, irony, black frui galore; much too young, of course, but some times ... #JR&Co

More fruit on the nose than the latour and mouton. Bright with a bit of leather and tobacco. Beautiful on the palate

I like how this wine is now. Very interesting texture and expressing itself weird.
