Beaujolais? Gamay? None of those open fruits or aromas, and rather tighter than I expected. A perfectly drinkable and delicious burgundy of earthier, tauter fruit, nonetheless.

Jadot the first burgundy house to expand into Beaujolais. Classic to the Cru is the idea. 9 months of new oak? If I caught that right. Spicy and full bodied. And rather tight on the back. Restricted.

Dark and dense color. Burgundy like aromas with delicious clean fruit. Good concentration.

Great bottle. Deep and rich. What a way to drink gamay!

Hög syra. Lätt fyllighet. Toner av blåbär och röda bär. Ingen favorit och måste ha något att äta till.
